Sight & Sound Theatres is a live theatre company that stages faith-based productions. The 2015 season in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, includes "Joseph" from May to October and "Miracle of Christmas" from November to December. The productions are known for including live animals, such as camels, donkeys and goats.
Sight & Sound Theatres was founded in Lancaster County in 1976, and the first full-length live production was staged in 1987. After a fire destroyed the original complex, a new 2,000-seat theatre opened in 1998. The facility in Lancaster County is one of the top theatre destinations in the country.
A second, state-of-the-art theatre opened in Branson, Missouri in 2008. The 2015 production in Branson is "Jonah," which runs from May through December.
