As of 2015, shows that are available on Telemundo include "Tierra de Reyes," "Suelta La Sopa," "Top Chef Estrellas," "Caso Cerrado" and "La Voz Kids." Telemundo also features "Noticias," its news program, and "La Sorpresa De Tu Vida," a weekend evening show in the tradition of "Sabado Gigante."
"Tierra de Reyes" is Telemundo's flagship soap opera, or novela. The storyline revolves around ongoing feuds and romantic entanglements between the lowly Gallardo brothers and their wealthy rivals, the del Junco sisters.
While "La Sorpresa De Tu Vida" is more of a variety entertainment show, "Suelte La Sopa" is a show about entertainment, celebrities, gossip and any headlines about famous people. The show often includes clips of behind-the-scenes interviews with Latino celebrities at home or at work. The hosts cover red-carpet events and fashion as well.
"Caso Cerrado" is Telemundo's equivalent of "Judge Judy" or "The People's Court." Volunteers agree to plead their cases before Cuban-born lawyer Ana Maria Polo, who arbitrates.
"La Voz Kids," another of Telemundo's reality shows, is a search for tomorrow's Latino music stars and showcases unknown young vocalists in a singing competition before a live audience and judges. Latin celebrities battle for culinary honors and to benefit charity on "Top Chef Estrellas," the Spanish-language equivalent of Bravo Media's James Beard Award-winning "Top Chef."
