Sneha is an award-winning Indian film actress and model. She was born on Oct. 12, 1981, and is married to fellow Indian actor Prasanna Venkatesan, as of 2015.
Sneha, whose real name is Suhasini Rajaram Naidu, was born in Panruti, Tamil Nadu, India. Her family later settled in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, where she attended school. She starred in her first film "Ingane Oru Nilapakshi" in 2000.
The actress has since appeared in more than 60 films, including the critically acclaimed "Rajanna," "Pirivom Santhippom" and "Haridas." Sneha has won several awards for her work, including the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her 2002 performance in "Unnai Ninaithu." As of November 2015, she has also received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress twice.
Her modeling career includes appearances in commercials for brands such as Kellogg's Chocos, Tata Salt, Power Shampoos and Horlicks. She has also starred in many fashion shows, including events at Chennai International Fashion Week and Sydney Sladen Fashion Week.
In May 2012, Sneha married Prasanna Venkatesan, who is popularly known by his stage name, "Prassana." The two met on the set of the movie "Achchamundu! Achchamundu!" in 2009. The couple had a baby boy, Vihaan, on August 10, 2015.
