Sleepy has a long beard and a blue hat, as well as a trademark tired expression. Dopey has big ears and a purple hat and never speaks a word. Doc and Grumpy both have brown hats and red shirts; the former wears glasses and is the group’s decision maker, and the latter is ill-tempered but is one of Snow White’s fiercest allies. Bashful is the shy dwarf with a short beard; he wears a yellow hat and a brown shirt and is normally posing with his hands behind his back. Sneezy and Happy wear brown shirts with orange caps, Happy always smiling and the most portly of the bunch and Sneezy always on the verge of a sneeze.
Walt Disney won an honorary Academy Award for his work on the film; the Oscar was custom made with seven small figurines attached to the normal statuette. The movie is 10th on the list of highest-grossing films of all time. Since its initial screening, Disney re-released the film eight times.Learn more about Children's Books
