After installing MindPoint Quiz Show and launching the program for the first time, users are prompted to create an optional password and a required instructor profile. After completing these steps, instructors must create classes and add student profiles to begin gameplay.
When opening MindPoint Quiz Show for the first time, users are guided through a three-step setup process: setting a password, entering their instructor profile, and registering the software. Password creation and registration are optional, while the software requires users to create a profile with their names, organizational names, and cities and states.
After completing these steps, instructors are taken to the Instructor Utility Menu, where they can create classes by selecting the Edit Class Preferences option. In this section, instructors name and create classes and edit preferences such as number of questions per game and audio effects options.
After creating a class, instructors are returned to the Instructor Utility Menu, where they can add students to the class by selecting Update Player Information. This menu allows them to create student profiles with students' first and last names, add customizable avatars to each profile, and add students to classes.
After completing these steps, students can access their classes and profiles and begin playing MindPoint Quiz Show. If a password was created in the initial setup, this is required to launch the game every time.
