The Tucson Gem Show, a blanket term which refers to a number of individual conventions and exhibits, has a varied schedule from year to year. Generally, show dates are available from the Events section of the Visit Tucson website.
The 2015 Tucson gem shows were a series of events lasting from January 13 to February 15. These shows and events were held at a variety of times and locations in the greater Tucson, Arizona, area. Although the majority of the shows were open to the public, some were limited to wholesale buyers, businesses or private registered parties.
The 2015 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, listed as the main show, was held from February 12 to 15 at the Tucson Convention Center. It was organized by the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society and was open to the public, albeit with an admission charge. It typically draws thousands of attendees to the downtown Tucson area during the final week of the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossil Showcase.
According to the Visit Tucson events Web page, fall shows are slated for September 10 to 13 in 2015, September 8 to 11 in 2016 and September 7 to 10 in 2017. A winter show is also tentatively scheduled for January 30 to February 14 in 2016 and January 28 to February 12 in 2017.
