Entertainment Tonight Canada identifies the "Ghost Hunters" episodes set at the Stanley Hotel, Waverly Hills Sanatorium and Isle of Pines as the scariest of the series. They also noted the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Birdcage Theatre episodes as being particularly creepy.
"Ghost Hunters" is a paranormal reality television series that premiered on the Sci Fi Channel in 2004 and has run for ten seasons as of 2015. The series stars two paranormal investigators who explore locations around the United States that are supposedly haunted. The investigators use equipment they believe to be capable of detecting paranormal activity to prove or disprove the existence of ghosts in each location.
