ABC's "The Chew" is a talk show focused on food. A panel of food-related personalities host lively discussions about cooking, entertaining, trends, restaurants and living better through food.
"The Chew" is hosted by multi-restaurant owner, author, and television personality Mario Batali; "Iron Chef America" star and restaurant-owner Michael Symon; "Top Chef" contestant and Alchemy owner Carla Hall; author and style host of TLC's "What Not to Wear" Clinton Kelly; and Daphne Oz, author, healthy living enthusiast, and founder of HealthCorps, a nonprofit organization focused on diet, exercise and general health resources for teens. The upbeat talk show strives for a fun, life-affirming experience through the theme of food.
"The Chew" films in front of a studio audience, broadcasts live from New York City and airs weekdays on the ABC Television Network. "The Chew" maintains an active social media presence as well with accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest, the latter of which includes access to most recipes presented on the program. Three cookbooks based on the talk show have been released: "The Chew: Food. Life. Fun."; "The Chew: What's For Dinner"; and "The Chew: A Year of Celebrations."
