U.S.-based magazine-subscriber staple Reader's Digest offers its Spanish-language version, Selecciones, online at Selecciones.com. The electronic version is also available for online download on outlets such as Amazon.com.
Reader's Digest decided to fold its then 37-year-old Spanish-language print version, Selecciones, in 2009, citing poor ad revenue and publisher retention problems. With the popularity and versatility of electronic and online editions at a fraction of the print cost, Reader's Digest later revived the Spanish edition with more success than ever before. Global editions of Reader's Digest circulate to some 40 million people in more than 70 countries, offering 49 editions in 21 languages.
