The TV Guide website allows viewers to find localized television listings by entering their zip code. Alternatively, AOL and the Huffington Post host a website allowing users to search television listings by zip code or searching by state and city.
For both these sites, the user chooses their television provider after inputting their zip code. The website then shows an interactive grid with local television listings according to the information provided. Users are able to move the grid up and down to view different channels, and left and right to view different times of day. When users click on a show title, a window pops up, giving them information about the show, such as when it airs and a brief synopsis about the program.
