Full Answer

"The Cat Who..." is a series of mystery novels written by Lilian Jackson Braun and published by G. P. Putnam's Sons. The first three books came out from 1966 to 1968, with the fourth one appearing in 1982 and a new release every year thereafter until 2007. Together, there are 29 books that tell the story of James Mackintosh Qwilleran, or "Qwill," who lives with his two cats, Koko and Yum-Yum, and the crime and murder mysteries that they solve. A 30th book remains unpublished after the author's death in 2011.
