In 1977, his book "The Other Side of Midnight" was made into a film starring Susan Sarandon, John Beck and France Pisier. Sheldon also wrote a memoir, "The Other Side of Me," which was published by Warner Books in 2005. Sheldon's books have been translated into more than 50 languages.
