Based upon the 2015 reviews of her works from Amazon.com, Irish author Maeve Binchy's three most popular books in order of publication are "Circle of Friends," "A Week in Winter," and "Chestnut Street." "A Week in Winter" and "Chestnut Street" were published posthumously.
Although Maeve Binchy passed away in July of 2012, her husband and publisher collected many of the short stories she wrote throughout her career to create "Chestnut Street," which came out in 2015. Her final novel, "A Week in Winter," was published in 2015. Discounting the books released posthumously, Mrs. Binchy's three most popular books would also include "Evening Class" and "Tara Road." Other popular books include: "The Builders," "Heart and Soul," and "Minding Frankie."
Maeve Binchy published 17 novels, five short story collections, one play, one novella, and three non-fiction works throughout her career, as well as audio editions of many of her works. In addition to "A Week in Winter" and "Chestnut Street," Binchy's publishing company also released a non-fiction collection of her most notable journalistic articles after her passing. The anthology spans the 50 years of her journalism career and is titled "Maeve's Times: In Her Own Words." Each of these posthumous works is currently among the top five of her most popular works.
