Peter Bergman joined the cast of the CBS show in 1989, after playing Dr. Cliff Warner on "All My Children" for nine years. Bergman has three Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Lead Actor, in 1991, 1992, and 2002. He was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Daytime series 16 times since 1990.
Eric Braeden, who was born as Hans Gudegast in Keil, Germany, has been playing Victor Newman since 1980. The role won him a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 1998 and People's Choice Award. Throughout his career, Braeden has played roles in television series, movies, and on Broadway.
Melissa Ordway began her role as Abby Newman in May of 2013. Ordway began her career as a model, including appearing in national campaigns for Sketchers and Old Navy. Her first television role was in 2008, when she joined the cast of "Privileged." Ordway also appeared as Ashley in the 2010 film, "The Last Song."
Jennifer Landon, daughter of Michael Landon, began her television acting career as a young child when she joined her father for an episode of "Highway to Heaven."
