It is a popular romantic track from the movie that features characters played by actors Raj Kapoor and Nargis. "Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya," composed by Naushad, is an evergreen romantic song from the movie "Mughal E Azam."
Lata Mangeshkar also sang the track "Ajib Dastan Hai Yeh" from the 1960 movie "Dil Apna Aur Preet Paraya." The well-known duo Shankar-Jaikishan provided the music while Shailendra wrote the lyrics for the song. The song "Aayega Aanewala" is one of Lata Mangeshkar’s greatest hits from the movie "Mahal," released in 1949. Music director Khemchand Prakash composed the song, which featured actress Madhubala.
Although Mangeshkar primarily sings in the Hindi and Marathi languages, she has performed songs in 36 Indian and non-Indian languages. Mangeshkar is prolific, having recorded over 5,000 songs in Hindi alone. A recipient of India's highest civilian honor award, the Bharat Ratna, Mangeshkar was the second singer to achieve this distinction.
