Some old Bengali songs are "Shono Ei To Samay," "Jete Jete Pathey Holo Deri," "Mone Pore Ruby Roy," "Mone Mone Koto Din” and "Jinisher Daam Berechhe". These songs were sung by R.D. Burman and Amit Kumar in the late 1960s and 1970s.
Burman, who was a singer, composer and musical director, sang all these songs except for "Jinisher Daam Berechhe" and "Mone Mone Koto Din." His wife, the illustrious Hindi singe, Asha Bhosle, re-recorded all these songs using modern music equipment for a new album, "Pancham Tumi Kothay," which was released in 2014. Kumar, who is the son of the eminent singer Kishore Kumar, sang both "Jinisher Daam Berechhe" and "Mone Mone Koto Din."
