Cable network A&E is reviving the crime drama "Unforgettable." Previously, CBS aired three seasons of the hour-long show before cancelling it in 2014. A&E plans only 13 episodes for the fourth season, starting in late 2015.
In "Unforgettable," Poppy Montgomery stars as a New York City police detective with hyperthymesia, the rare mental ability to remember everything she has ever heard or seen. Along with her partner, played by Dylan Walsh, she solves major crime cases using her gifted memory.
Some cast members are not continuing their roles on A&E. Dallas Roberts is not returning as Eliot Delson, captain of the major crimes unit. Jane Curtain, who played medical examiner Dr. Joanne Webster, has also left the drama. Tawny Cypress is reprising her role as Senior Detective Cherie Rollings-Murray in a limited capacity.
