Thomas Miles, known by his stage name of "Nephew Tommy," is an American actor, comedian and producer. He is the nephew of Steve Harvey and co-hosts the "Steve Harvey Morning Show" radio program with his uncle.
Thomas Miles attended Texas A&M University, majoring in theater. He later studied with the Royal Shakespeare Company. His acting career consists of roles in stage plays and independent films, such as "N-Secure," "The Heart Specialist" and "Baggage Claim." Additionally, Miles worked as the producer for six episodes of the television series "Comedy Dynamics: Uncontrolled Comedy." He served as a writer for the 2011 TV movie "Nephew Tommy: Just My Thoughts" as well as for two episodes of BET's "Comicview" series.
In addition to co-hosting the radio show, Thomas Miles is a stand-up comedian who's performed at a variety of events, such as opening for Luther Vandross on a three-year tour as well as hosting the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans for four years. Miles also performed for the United Service Organizations in military bases around the Middle East in 2011 during the Holiday Tour and again in 2013. He established the "Miles of Giving" foundation, a non-profit organization designed to support returning wounded military veterans financially and emotionally.
