Before becoming a journalist, Natalie Morales worked for Chase Bank. After completing her journalism degree, Morales' first TV job was for News 12 in the Bronx as its morning anchor.
While working as the morning anchor for News 12, Morales also held a variety of other roles at the station including camera operator, editor and producer. After leaving News 12, Morales moved to Hartford, Connecticut, where she worked for a local TV station as a weekend reporter/anchor and morning anchor. During her tenure, she has covered events that include the Columbine shootings and Hurricane Floyd in 1999, the Presidential election in 2000, and the 911 attacks in 2001.
