The WWE's Hall of Fame includes many Divas, such as Trish Stratus, Lita, Alundra Blayze, Mae Young and Wendi Richter. In 1995, The Fabulous Moolah was the first WWE Diva to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. It took 11 years for another female, "Sensational" Sherri Martel, to follow her.
In 2008, Vickie Guerrero, the SmackDown general manager and wife of the late WWE wrestler Eddie Guerrero, introduced the WWE Divas Championship title. Divas Michelle McCool and Natalya were the first contenders for the title.
