The Cinemark Theatre in Moosic, Pennsylvania, plays Hollywood films, and the Cinemark website lists its current movie offerings as well as upcoming ones. As of Oct. 6, 2015, some of the movies that are showing are "The Martian," "Sicario" and "Black Mass." Upcoming movies include the James Bond film "Spectre" and "Ed Sheeran X Tour at Wembley Stadium."
The Cinemark Theatre offers all stadium seating with movies shown in all digital, RealD 3D, XD or High Frame Rate formats. Some of its amenities are birthday party rooms, a cafe, a self-serve ticket kiosk and a game arcade. The theater also offers accommodations for patrons with disabilities such as wheelchair access; descriptive narration for the visually-impaired; and hearing loops, closed captions and listening devices for the hearing-impaired.
"The Martian" is a science fiction film starring Matt Damon as an astronaut abandoned on Mars who now has to fight for survival. Directed by Ridley Scott, the film, which also stars Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig and Jeff Daniels, is based on the 2011 Andy Weir novel of the same name. The movie premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2015 where it received positive reviews.
Directed by Denis Villeneuve, critically-acclaimed crime thriller "Sicario" tells the story of an idealistic FBI Agent, played by Emily Blunt, who is enlisted in a clandestine government operation to fight the drug wars at the lawless United States-Mexico border. Directed by Scott Cooper, the positively reviewed crime drama "Black Mass" is based on real-life events about how the FBI collaborated with the Irish mob to eliminate their common enemy, the Italian Mafia. Joel Edgerton plays the FBI agent, and Johnny Depp plays Irish mobster James "Whitey" Bulger.
