Anchor Robin Roberts played basketball for Southeastern Louisiana University and ended her career there as one of the school's all-time high scorers. She became ESPN's first black anchorwoman in 1990 as a SportsCenter host.
Prior to joining "Good Morning America," anchor Lara Spencer was an All-American diver at Penn State University. She began her television career in the NBC Page Program and later hosted "Antiques Road Show" for PBS.
