Current cast members of "Good Morning America" as of May 2015 are Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Lara Spencer and Amy Robach, according to TV Guide. Well-known former cast members include celebrity news anchors Diane Sawyer and Joan Lunden.

Stephanopoulos, a 1991 presidential campaigner for then-Governor Bill Clinton, was named co-anchor of "Good Morning America" in 2009.

Anchor Robin Roberts played basketball for Southeastern Louisiana University and ended her career there as one of the school's all-time high scorers. She became ESPN's first black anchorwoman in 1990 as a SportsCenter host.

Prior to joining "Good Morning America," anchor Lara Spencer was an All-American diver at Penn State University. She began her television career in the NBC Page Program and later hosted "Antiques Road Show" for PBS.

Co-host Amy Robach joined NBC News in 2003. She became a "Weekend Today" co-anchor in 2007. Robach joined ABC News in 2012 and underwent treatment for breast cancer in November 2013 following a mammogram conducted on-air the previous month.

"Good Morning America" premiered in 1975 featuring co-anchors David Hartman and Nancy Dussault. The set was designed to resemble a living room, rather than a newsroom. The show's style remains largely the same, featuring a combination of entertainment, news reports, interviews and lifestyle pieces.
