Born in November 1970 in Syracuse, New York, Kelly is married to Douglas Brunt and has three children. Her first marriage was to Dr. Daniel Kendall; the pair divorced in 2006. Kelly graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in political science before attending Albany Law School where she graduated in 1995 with a Juris doctorate degree.
