On the inside cover of the MechQuest Artbook there is a special promotional code that unlocks the MechQuest Mecha model. Once the promotional code is redeemed online, logging in to the game grants access to the item.
Attached to every purchase of a physical BattleOn Games product is a card with a prize code that is redeemed on the BattleOn Games Code Redeem page for an item. Using an existing BattleOn Games account, players must link their game account to their master account before entering the prize code to unlock a rare item. One such item is the Mecha model in MechQuest. Under the name Skullcrusher 1000, the model has no sell back value but expands into the Skullcrusher Ultimate that levels up to 100 with the player's character. The same promotional code that unlocks this model works in AdventureQuest Worlds, granting access to Mecha armor.
In addition to the promotional code, the MechQuest Artbook features over 120 pages of art by AdventureQuest artists Thyton and Oishii, who provide instructions on drawing Mecha and non-player characters. BattleOn Games also provides promotional codes in their first music album called "The NPCs: Critical Hits." Featuring 32 tracks, including an unreleased theme song, the album includes music from all games of the BattleOn universe. BattleOn Games also includes a prize code with T-shirts that sport the ShadowScythe and ChickenCow emblems.
