Are Mark Stengler's Books Enjoyable to Read?

People interested in combining natural and conventional medicine tend to find Mark Stengler's books enjoyable. Mark Stengler is the author or co-author of 30 books, including three bestsellers: "The Natural Physician’s Healing Therapies," "Prescription for Natural Cures" and "Prescription for Drug Alternatives."

Dr. Stengler's books are about natural medicine and experiences in his practice. In addition to his books, Dr. Stengler also writes an e-letter called "House Calls" several times per week, and a monthly newsletter called "Health Revelations." These publications reach 400,000 readers. Dr. Stengler hosts "Natural Healing with Mark Stengler" on PBS and created two documentaries for the station, including "7 Steps to Perfect Health" and "Supercharge Your Immune System." PBS featured him on its fundraiser "A to Z Guide to Healing Yourself."

Dr. Stengler is a licensed naturopathic doctor and general health practitioner. He attended Mt. Royal College in Calgary, Alberta and the University of Calgary for his undergraduate studies, and he received his graduate-level naturopathic medicine training at the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. He also has a Masters of Religious Studies degree from Southern California Seminary. He is licensed to practice naturopathic medicine in California and Arizona and has training in lab diagnosis, pharmacology and minor surgery.
