Magic Crochet Magazine was a US-based publication for crocheters that ceased publication in 2005. It was produced for the American market, but it included international symbol crochet graphs.
This was important because yarn weights, hook sizing and stitch names are different in Europe and North America and most crochet magazines do not provide translated instructions. As of December 2014, the discontinued magazines are only available through online crochet supply stores, but they are expensive to buy. The publisher of Magic Crochet Magazine also produced a similar publication for the American market called Decorative Crochet Magazine that is also discontinued but is available through the online stores.
