The children of World War II prisoner of war and Olympic runner Louis Zamperini are Cynthia Garris and Luke Zamperini. Both said they loved the 2014 movie "Unbroken" about their father's life.
They were born after World War II, and the family was living in a Hollywood Hills house the Zamperinis bought after Louis Zamperini sold the rights to the story of his life. During that time, their father struggled with post traumatic stress disorder. Garris and Luke Zamperini both said that although their father's Christian faith was important to him, they endorsed director Angelina Jolie's more generalized approach to religious faith in the movie.
