Kay began writing while attending Isothermal Community College. At the age of 22, she sold her first book, a Regency romance novel entitled "Lady Thief." It was released in July 1981. She has written over 60 books in her career. She is especially prolific in the romance and crime thriller genres. Many of her crime novels feature FBI agent Noah Bishop and his Special Crimes Unit. She has worked with many publishers, including Dell, which published her first novel, and Bantam, a publisher she worked with for over 26 years.Learn more about Fiction
