Lisa Robertson gained popularity as a host on the QVC shopping network. She regularly appeared on air for over two decades and developed a large fan base. Robertson left QVC in 2014.
Raised in a rural area of Tennessee, Robertson first entered the national spotlight in 1989 when she was crowned Miss Tennessee and represented her state in the Miss America pageant. Though unsuccessful, she received significant attention for her skills as a classically trained violinist and vocalist. During her reign as Miss Tennessee, she made numerous public appearances and spoke to large audiences.
In 1995, Robertson took a hosting job with QVC. She went on to host a variety of the network's shows, including "PM Style" and "Friday Night Beauty." Her popularity among shoppers led to her nickname as the Queen of QVC. During her stint on QVC, Robertson became the target of at least four stalkers. The threats led her to often lock herself within her home when not working.
On Dec. 12, 2014, Robertson hosted her final QVC show. She became emotional during the broadcast as she thanked viewers for their support. During a March 2015 television appearance, she revealed that she has no specific future plans.
