Award-winning news anchor Lisa Mason began her career with QVC as an on-air program host in 1995. Her position required her to present product information, conduct live product demonstrations and interact with audiences. Mason resigned in 2010 after 15 years with QVC to pursue goals of writing and returning to broadcast journalism. Mason returned to QVC in March 2015 and resumed her former position as a program host. She resigned again in September 2015.
Mason's education and experience as a news anchor with the Oklahoma City Fox News Affiliate and her award-winning work as an anchor, producer and writer with PBS qualified her for QVC's program host position. She held a full-time host position with QVC for 15 years between 1994 and 2010.
Mason returned to QVC during spring 2015. In June 2015, shortly after resuming her duties as program host, Mason announced that she was taking personal leave, as her husband, Gino, had been diagnosed with stage 4 esophogeal cancer. Mason stated that the cancer had spread to Gino's lymph nodes, lungs and brain and indicated that her leave was linked to her husband's illness.
In September 2015, QVC representatives announced on Mason's QVC-linked Facebook page that Mason had permanently resigned from the network.
