Only select networks are available for streaming depending on the user’s subscription. To access the live TV feature, customers need to set up a username and password with the TV provider.
Comcast Xfinity allows subscribers to enjoy live TV on multiple mobile devices. If a customer is watching live TV on a smartphone and receives a phone call, the customer can continue watching live TV on another device. Comcast also allows customers to watch live TV through their receivers and continue watching on other devices. On-demand videos are also available, and users can download movies to watch offline.
The DirecTV Everywhere service allows users to access live TV and DVR playlists on the go. Subscribers can use up to five multiple devices at the same time. Subscribers stream live TV channels on mobile devices only while connected to Wi-Fi. With a GenieGO connected to an HD DVR, users can watch recorded shows on computers or mobile devices.
