Kathie Lee Gifford is widely known as a co-host on "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee" and is a "Today Show" host. She is also a singer, an actress and an author.
Gifford began her professional career as a Christian singer, appearing on religious television programs such as "The 700 Club" in the 1970s with her first husband, Paul Johnson. Her television work includes soap opera "Days of Our Lives," "Good Morning America" and "The Morning Show" in 1988, which later became the nationally syndicated "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee." Before meeting her second husband, ex-football player Fran Gifford, she sang jingles and appeared in commercials for Carnival Cruises. She has written nine books, as of 2012.
