Judy Crowell is a television personality, known for her work as a host in the televised shopping industry. She was born in Tokyo, Japan, but moved frequently as a child because her father was in the Army.
During her childhood, Crowell lived in four different countries and 12 different states. She went to high school in Virginia and Germany and graduated from an international high school in Belgium. She earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Florida State University, where she graduated cum laude.
After graduating from college, Crowell served as a co-host on "PM Magazine," a news and entertainment television show. A job as the host of Cable Value Network followed, and she then became the news director for WLAV-Radio in Grand Rapids, Michigan. During her time in that position, she earned an Associated Press Honor in Investigative Reporting.
She spent 15 years as a host on QVC, a home shopping network. Her focus was fashion, jewelry and fitness products. While at QVC, she became a certified personal fitness trainer and developed a fitness show, "Get Fit With Judy." She focused on easy, at-home workout routines.
Crowell has her own jewelry line, JOYA. The line includes bracelets, earrings, pendants, rings and necklaces.
