Joey + Rory is a husband and wife country duo that includes Joey and Rory Feek. The pair won the Top New Vocal Duo Award from the Academy of Country Music in 2010.
Rory Feek has written four number one hits as of 2015, and dozens of other artists have recorded his songs. His songs include "Some Beach" and "A Little More Country Than That." He teamed up with his wife to form the duo in 2008. The couple still lives in the farmhouse they lived in when they got their start, and Joey Feek still works at the family-owned cafe when she's able to do so, according to the biography on the duo's official website.
Joey Feek grew up riding horses and brings that aesthetic to the duo. She commonly wears western clothing, and the couple has included a song with a western theme on all four of the albums they have recorded as of July 2015. Rory Feek is known for the coveralls he often wears as well as his storytelling ability and sense of humor.
Joey Feek underwent surgery for cervical cancer in 2014. In 2015, the couple announced on their blog, This Life I Live, that the cancer had returned. The couple has one daughter, Indiana.
