Jeremy Clarkson is the former host of BBC's "Top Gear," as of 2015. He participated in long-distance races, interviewed celebrities and reviewed various vehicles by both conventional and unconventional metrics.
Clarkson presented the show's segments in a hangar converted into a studio, on the test tracks surrounding it and on location around the United Kingdom. Occasionally, the cast traveled to foreign countries for special episodes of "Top Gear."
In March 2015, BBC did not renew Clarkson's contract after an attack by Clarkson on a "Top Gear" producer. The attack stemmed from a catering dispute while filming in North Yorkshire, England. Clarkson's co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May left the program after his firing, thus marking the 22nd season's finale as their final episode.
