Jennifer Arnold is an American physician, actress, reality show star and television personality. She is best known for appearing in the reality shows "The Little Couple," "Little People: Just Married" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
Arnold is a medical professional specializing in neonatology, the treatment of newborn infants; she completed her pediatric residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The program "The Little Couple" focuses in part on the work she performs at Texas Children's Hospital. As of 2015, the "Little Couple" enjoyed its seventh season on the Learning Channel, despite a brief hiatus in 2013.
Both Arnold and her husband, Bill Klein, have dwarfism: Jen is 96.5 centimeters (3 feet 2 inches) and Bill is 122 centimeters (4 feet) tall. Their home in Houston is customized to accommodate the condition. Arnold and Klein have adopted two children, William and Zoey, who, like their adoptive parents, are both little persons.
In 2013, Arnold was diagnosed with a rare and highly progressed case of stage four cancer, which specialists diagnosed as resulting from a nonviable pregnancy Arnold had experienced just a few months before. Arnold ultimately allowed producers of the program to document her battle against the disease. In early 2014, Arnold announced that surgical and chemotherapy treatments had been successful, and that she and her family were positive about her recovery.
