Jagged Edge is a four-member American rhythm and blues group that has released eight studio albums, as of November 2015. The group won two Soul Train awards in 2001: best rhythm and blues/soul album by a band, duo or group for the album "J.E. Heartbreak" and best rhythm and blues/soul single for the song, "Let's Get Married." The group has received nominations for many other awards.
Consisting of identical twins Brandon and Brian Casey, Kyle Norman and Richard Wingo, Jagged Edge formed in Atlanta, Georgia, and began its mainstream career in 1997 with the release of the single, "The Way That You Talk," through So So Def Recordings, a division of Columbia Records. The album, "A Jagged Era," soon followed and went gold. Jagged Edge's 2000 album, "J.E. Heartbreak," went double platinum and made it onto the top 10 album chart. Four singles from the album made it into the Hot 100.
Brandon and Brian write many of the songs for the group, and Jermaine Dupri produces many of its recordings. The duo has also written songs for other artists, including Usher, Nivea and Toni Braxton. J.E. Heartbreak II is the group's eighth studio album. Released on October 27, 2014, the album debuted at number 28 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured the single, "Hope."
