The Greek goddess Hera lives on Mount Olympus. She is queen of the gods and is a member of the 12 most powerful gods in the pantheon. As the goddess of marriage and childbirth, she is the patroness of married women and goddesses.
Hera is married to her brother Zeus, who is the supreme ruler in the universe. Because of his frequently wandering eye, Hera is often jealous of Zeus and plots against him. In one instance, she plotted to overthrow him as king of the gods but was discovered. Zeus banished her from Olympus and suspended her with a golden rope from the heavens until she relented.
