There have only been two seasons of "The Blacklist" television show, as of July 2015. Season three premieres on Sept. 24, 2015. Entertainment reporters say that viewers are in for a big change as FBI Special Agent Elizabeth Keene moves outside the law with series protagonist Red Reddington.
It is unclear how season three will begin, given the wide-open ending of season two, which has Liz and Red hopping into an unmarked van after she has just killed Tom Connelly in cold blood. Liz's photo now hangs beside Red's on the FBI's most wanted list. Actress Megan Boone, who plays agent Keene, claims that the show has the same characters now in a totally different dynamic.
The mysterious background connection between Red and Liz is set to be explored as well as the nature of the relationship and love that he has for her. She also revealed that she finally remembers the night of the fire when she was a child, which had eluded her for the first two seasons.
Indications are that the team at the FBI continue to work together, minus Cooper. Agent Ressler is now in charge of finding Liz and Red, even though he helped Liz escape.
