Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard were married June 24, 2014, in Springdale, Arkansas, Duggar's hometown. There were nearly 1,000 guests in attendance. Duggar, who was 23 at the time, wore a traditional white wedding dress, while the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore teal and white.
The two were married under a white canopy. Duggar picked eight bridesmaids for the wedding, which included a sister-in-law and a niece. Dillard's groomsmen included three of Duggar's brothers.
There was some mystery surrounding Jill's brother, Josh, not being part of the wedding party. The year after the wedding In Touch Weekly published a police report revealing that Josh fondled five underage girls inside the Duggar home, four of them his sisters. Tabloid speculation has posited that this snub at the wedding was due to these events.
