In the final episode of Season 19 of "The Bachelor," the two remaining contestants, Whitney and Becca, met and spent time with Chris's family in Arlington, Iowa. After several dates with both women and with the advice of his family, Chris proposed to Whitney at the final rose ceremony.
The final episode focused on the final two contestants deciding whether or not to move to Iowa with Chris. Whitney already decided to make the move. Becca told Chris' sisters she would not move right away and preferred to date long distance. Several of Chris's family members questioned whether Becca was the right choice for him.
Linda, Chris's mother, interrogated the final two contestants, which resulted in a verbal confrontation between Becca and Linda. Each woman went on a final date with Chris. The date with Becca involved a conversation about the status of their relationship. Becca admitted her hesitance to move was due to the fact she did not believe there was anything for her to do in Chris' hometown. On his final date with Whitney, Chris took her to pick corn on his farm.
The final rose ceremony took place in the family barn. Becca arrived first at the barn where Chris proceeded to break up with her, stating Becca not being ready as the reason.
