The Chatsworth Cranberry Festival takes place in downtown Chatsworth, typically in October, and celebrates the state’s cranberry harvest. The Crawfish Fest occurs in June, typically held in Augusta. This festival lasts three days and features live music and plenty of crawfish vendors. Toms River is the scene of the Chili and Salsa Cookoff, typically in May, which features chili-eating contests and entertainment by local bands.
