The popular western "Gunsmoke" ran for 20 years. The main character was Marshall Matt Dillon, the sheriff of Dodge City. "Bonanza" centered on the Cartwright family and its Ponderosa Ranch in Virginia City, Nevada. The show ran for 14 seasons and starred Lorne Greene, Michael Landon and Dan Blocker.
"The Wild Wild West" starred Robert Conrad as James West and Ross Martin as his partner Artemus Gordon. The two played Secret Service agents who were adept at using gadgets to solve problems.
