Gina Neely is a bestselling author and television personality best known for co-hosting the popular Food Network shows "Down Home With The Neelys" and "Road Tasted With The Neelys." She co-hosted the shows with her husband Patrick.
In 1994, Gina married her high school sweetheart Patrick Neely. Before joining her husband in the family business, Gina served as branch manager at National Bank of Commerce in Memphis. She was an events coordinator for The Carter Malone Group, a local public relations firm.
The success of their first show was largely due to the help of Paula Dean. In September 2006, Paula ate at the Neely's downtown Memphis restaurant and was so impressed that she invited the couple to appear on Paula's Party.
In May 2009, Gina and Patrick released their first cookbook, "Down Home with the Neelys," which quickly earned a place on The New York Times bestseller list. Continuing with tremendous success of the show, the couple released a second book in 2011, "The Neely’s Celebration Cookbook."
In a highlight of her career, Gina was invited by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama to take part in the 2012 White House Easter Egg Roll.
Gina has appeared on national TV and radio shows such as "The Talk" (as a guest and a co-host), "The Steve Harvey Show," "The Rachael Ray Show," "Good Morning America," "the TODAY show," and "The View."
In September 2014, following a two-year-long separation, Gina Neely filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Gina currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee, with her two daughters, Spenser and Shelbi.
