Gerri Willis is an anchor and personal finance reporter for Fox Business Network. She joined Fox Business Network in 2010 after spending seven years working for CNN. She previously worked as the senior financial correspondent for Smart Money Magazine before joining CNN in 2003. During her time at CNN as a personal finance editor, she appeared on various programs on CNN and HLN. Willis is a native of Spruce Pine, North Carolina. She graduated from Columbia Business School and has authored two business books: "The Smart Money Guide to Real Estate Investing" and "Home Rich." She is the host of The Willis Report on Fox Business Network, which premiered on June 7, 2011. The Willis Report replaced Happy Hour, which was a casual program produced out of the Waldorf Astoria's Bull & Bear restaurant. Conversely, The Willis Report was described to be a no-nonsense show focusing on complicated financial issues.
Willis was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow at Columbia Business School. She is a recipient of the Excellence in Retirement Savings Reporting award in 2001. She lived in New York City before moving to Hartsdale in Westchester County.Learn more about Art & Literature
