Some famous people with ADHD include celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and entertainer Howie Mandel. Both stars have gone public with their diagnoses and led successful careers in spite of them.
Chef and nutrition advocate Jamie Oliver was diagnosed with ADHD as a child, though he claims that a healthy diet helped him manage the disorder. A famous TV chef, Oliver is also a major advocate for children’s nutrition, including healthier school lunches and the elimination of junk food from kids’ diets.
Comedian and TV host Howie Mandel is a well-known advocate for ADD and other disorders. The “Deal or No Deal” host published a memoir entitled “Here’s the Deal: Don’t Touch Me,” which offered a humorous look at his life with ADHD, OCD and germ phobia.
