Some of the most famous stolen paintings are "The Concert" by Johannes Vermeer, "Poppy Flowers" by Vincent van Gogh, "The Storm on the Sea of Galilee" by Rembrandt and "View of Auvers-sur-Oise" by Paul Cézanne.
Two thieves posing as police officers stole both Rembrandt's "The Storm on the Sea of Galilee" and Vermeer's "The Concert" in 1990. A thief cut "Poppy Flowers" from its frame in 2010, and it has not been seen since. "Poppy Flowers" was stolen previously in 1978, but authorities recovered it two years later. "View of Auvers-sur-Oise" went missing on December 31, 1999, from the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, England.
