The Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter is located on Larry Walker Parkway in Perry, Georgia. The signature event for the fairgrounds is the annual Georgia National Fair, which runs for 11 days every October and typically draws around 450,000 visitors.
The Georgia National Fair seeks to honor the state’s heritage, people and agriculture. The event offers carnival rides and games, concerts, livestock shows and other entertainment.
In addition to the fair, the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter hosts trade shows, corporate gatherings, livestock shows and other events. As of 2015, the fairgrounds occupy approximately 1,100 acres with 10 acres of exhibition space and parking for 13,000 vehicles. The Agricenter consists of six million square feet of exhibition space, two arenas, four exhibit halls, two 480-stall horse barns and four ponds.
