Faerie Magazine is published four a times a year. According to its Facebook page, the magazine aims to "celebrate the magical and extraordinary" and "highlight the enchantment in life." Its contents include photos, artist profiles, works of fiction, and articles about gardening, arts and crafts, and home decorating.
Other features of the magazine include recipes, spotlights on enchanting travel destinations and inspirational pieces. The theme of fairies and magic is recurring, and vivid color photographs are a main feature.
The magazine was first published in 2005. Each year, issues are published quarterly in the spring, summer, fall and winter. Carolyn Turgeon is the magazine's editor-in-chief as of May 2015. Other staff are referred to online only by their first names, Kim and Anna.
Faerie Magazine is sold at Barnes and Noble stores (where it can be found in the Lifestyle section) as well as online through the Faerie Magazine website. Subscriptions are available in print only, and the magazine ships within the United States and overseas. Back issues may be purchased in PDF format from the website via digital download. Gift subscriptions are also available. In addition, the magazine offers a newsletter that users can sign up to receive with an email address.
