Heath Ledger's role as The Joker was highly praised, and he won multiple best supporting actor awards, including an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe Award.
"The Matrix," released in 1999, is the beginning of a trilogy directed by The Wachowski Brothers. The movie follows a computer hacker called Neo, who discovers the truth about reality from a group of rebels who are fighting a war. It won 38 awards and had an additional 40 nominations.
"Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back," released in 1980, is the second in director George Lucas' original trilogy of "Star Wars" movies.
